These bowls are sewn baskets, made from discarded fabric and pieces of life jackets of the Safe Passage bags, possibly even strips of emergency blankets. Re-purposing made elegant!
In my house there are many of these beautiful bowls carrying a lot of different stuff. They are nicely made, each individually composed as to colors and materials and they are able to brighten up even a dark grey northern European November day!
